Bins & Bulky Waste

The council provide a free bulky waste collection service from households.

We can collect a maximum of five items per household, per bulky waste collection.

Noise Control

The night-time noise team is available seven nights a week from 8pm until 4am.  You can report a noise problem as it happens during night-time hours by calling 028 9037 3006. You can also contact the noise team during daytime hours shown on the website. 

Pest Control

The pest control Service currently only provide appointments for rats and mice. To make an appointment for a rats or mice, email pestcontrol@belfastcity.gov.uk or call 028 9027 0431.

A text reminder will be sent the day before your appointment. If you are not at home for your first appointment, your second appointment will be automatically cancelled.

NI Water

Advice and assistance on what to do about low water pressure, burst pipes, leaks or blocked sewers etc.

PSNI Police

Dog Control

Flooding

The Department for Infrastructure is the competent authority for delivery of the Floods Directive. This is a legislative requirement that is carried out in co-operation with other government departments, agencies and stakeholders that have flood risk management responsibilities.

Anti-Social Behaviour

To report an incident of antisocial behaviour, contact police on the non-emergency telephone number 101.

If you encounter antisocial behaviour in your area, you can contact the antisocial behaviour officers.

Safer Streets

If you are the victim or the witness of crime, drug dealing or anti social behaviour you can contact Greater New Lodge Safer Streets Committee on 0756 493 8276. If no one is there to answer always leave a message on the voice mail.  Remember If You Don't Report Then We Can't help You. Do Not Suffer In Silence.
