Sailortown Festival runs from June 20th to 22nd. The three-day event promises a vibrant mix of music, markets, food, and family fun, celebrating the city’s maritime roots and creative community spirit.
Festival highlights runs until Sunday, June 22 (12pm–4pm) with a Family Market, featuring street theatre, inflatables, walkabout characters, a pooch parade, and nautical-themed fun for all ages.
Now in its fourth year, the Sailortown Festival is organised by Sailortown Regeneration and supported by Belfast Harbour, Belfast Maritime Trust, and Belfast City Council.
Festival organiser Maeve O’Connor said: “It’s a real privilege to see the area come alive with culture, creativity, and community spirit.” Maeve Moreland of the Maritime Belfast Trust added: “This festival is a brilliant example of local people coming together to celebrate their stories and bring this historic part of the city to life.”
The festival aims to reconnect the public with Belfast’s first dockside village through community-led regeneration, heritage, and celebration.

Belfast’s annual St Patrick’s Festival returns with a packed week of events celebrating Irish culture, music, and tradition.

The parade will start at City Hall, travel down Chichester Street, left onto Victoria Street, then left into High Street, onto Castle Place, and left into Donegall Place before finally returning to City Hall.
